NCC Group named as Leader in IDC MarketScape for European MDR Services 2024 Vendor Assessment

27 September 2024

NCC Group has been named as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: European Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Services 2024 Vendor Assessment (Doc No. IDC # EUR151172124, September 2024).

This recognition builds upon an incredible year for NCC Group’s Managed Extended Detection & Response services and follows recent recognition as Splunk’s Global Services Market Partner of the Year; exciting client projects, such as providing ongoing managed security services through our role as the independent third-party technology provider for TikTok’s Project Clover; the introduction of our Unified Cyber Platform; and the expansion of our Attack Surface Management portfolio.

MDR services have continually evolved as enterprises' needs and the threat landscape have changed. They are now offered by a wide range of providers to mitigate cyber risk and improve organisations’ resilience. 58% of cyber security decision makers in Europe describe resilience and risk mitigation as a key business priority[1]. As a result, NCC Group has seen the demand for and investment in MDR services increase significantly.

The IDC MarketScape notes, “Organizations with a U.K. and/or Benelux focus should consider the technical capabilities of NCC Group across a range of sectors and verticals. Government and higher education sectors should also consider NCC Group because of its in-depth work in these sectors.”

The IDC MarketScape for European Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Services 2024 Vendor Assessment provides a comprehensive analysis of the MDR market in Europe. This report evaluates various vendors based on their capabilities, strategies, and market presence.
