Our approach to keeping our clients and society safe is based on the four aspects of our continuous improvement process for advanced cyber security:

• Intelligence: An insight into the threat landscape so you know which threats your organization is facing.
• Prevention: Modern cyber security, comprising various layers and tuned to the threat landscape.
• Detection: A warning system alerts you when attackers attempt to gain access.
• Response: A process aimed at minimizing the damage of an incident.

• 1999: Fox-IT is founded as a consultancy firm for forensic expertise.
• 2001: Fox-IT is the first company to launch a Security Operations Center (SOC) in Europe.
• 2003: Fox-IT takes over Philips Crypto technology to focus more on advanced cryptography for the Dutch government.
• 2006: Fox-IT sets up the Threat Intelligence Research Centre aimed at financial institutions.
• 2015: Fox-IT launches CTMTM at RSA.
• 2015: Fox-IT becomes part of part of NCC Group.
• 2019: Dutch Ministry of Defense enters into strategic partnership with Fox-IT to safeguard the development and availability of cryptographic products in the long term.

In our Corporate Social Responsibility policy, we describe how we apply CSR in our company.

To us, being socially responsible means that we take responsibility for the effects of our activities on society. Securing human rights is one of our top social responsibilities. We want to contribute to a safer society, and integrity and confidentiality are our key principles.

Given the interests of our customers and the sensitive nature of our work, it is often necessary that we keep certain activities secret. With our CSR policy, we give a more general understanding of our principles, the way we deal with dilemmas around socially relevant issues and the framework that we apply in respect of current and potential customers.
