NCC Group 2024 Annual Research Report

NCC Group, a people-powered, tech-enabled global cyber security business, has published its 2024 Annual Research Report. The report highlights NCC Group’s significant contributions to creating a more secure digital future through pioneering research, innovative tools, and active engagement with industry and academia.

 

In 2024, NCC Group published 127 pieces of research, including:

  • 48 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), showcasing our commitment to identifying and addressing software and hardware vulnerabilities.
  • 10 Open-Source Tools, empowering the global cyber security community with resources to enhance security capabilities.
  • 52 Blog Posts, offering in-depth insights, technical guidance, and thought leadership across various domains of cyber security.
  • 17 Public Reports, reinforcing transparency and collaboration by sharing findings from critical assessments and research initiatives.

In 2024, NCC Group researchers tackled a wide range of critical topics, including identifying and addressing software and hardware vulnerabilities, developing advanced strategies for network and system security, and providing tools to counter emerging malware and ransomware threats.

Our researchers explored innovative cryptographic solutions for secure communications, prepared for post-quantum challenges, and assessed the integration of AI into cyber security. Another focus was addressing vulnerabilities in telecommunications infrastructure, emphasising the importance of securing global communications systems.
