Recently we were involved in DVLA's Code Challenge initiative, which enables interested pupils across Wales to develop their problem solving, communication and teamwork skills as well as improve their knowledge of computer programming in a fun and innovative way.
50 Schools & Community Groups across Wales won prizes and all entries were of an extremely high quality. NCC Group's support facilitated a selection of prizes for winning schools, aimed at improving coding skills and logical thinking, which included Lego Boost Kits, Raspberry Pi, Codrones, Ohbots and more.
Our Research Director Matt Lewis said he was "Delighted that NCC Group could support this fantastic initiative by the DVLA. Investment in young people's skills and interest in technology and coding is paramount for the Cyber Security industry as we aim to ensure a constant stream of world class talent in the UK. Coming from Swansea myself, I know full-well that Wales is bursting at the seams with talent and so giving young people a chance to experiment and play with technology in fun ways is a great way to inspire and create future generations of technical talent."
Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who took part | Llongyfarchiadau i'r enillwyr ac i bawb a gymerodd ran. http://dvlacodechallenge.dvla.gov.uk/
